Prabhakara Siddha Yogi used to emanate sweet smell from his body. That was his signature, akin to Gautama the Buddha bringing spring season wherever he went. Trees would bloom wherever the Buddha was present. While collecting information about the fascinating life and miracles of Prabhakara Siddha Yogi ,at one place I also felt the intense sweet smell that indicated his presence.

Why Corruption Charges fail to impact Pinarayi

Corruption Charges galore against Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and family. However, they have not made much  impact in Kerala Politics. It began with charges raised againstt PInarayi in SNC Lavlin Case. Many other charges were raised in connection with Kerala gold smuggling case, Sprinkler case and the recent finding of monthly payment to Mr. Pinarayi's daughter Veena Vijayan from a public limited company based in Kochi CMRL. After that a former Deshabhimani associate editor G. Sakthidharan raised the allegation that Pinarayi had collected unaccounted money when he was CPM state secretary.

But all such charges have failed to impress the public. In fact, Pinarayi is the first left Chief Minister in the state to win a consecutive second term. Why People fail to take the corruption charges seriously? Listen to my analysis 

Why CPM leader Shamseer made critical remarks about Lord Ganesha?

Kerala Legislative Assembly speaker and CPI (M) leader A N Shamseer has kicked up a controversy by making preposterous remarks about Lord Ganesha, revered by more than a billion Hindus all over the world. Mr. Shameer a devout Muslim, who was always found extolling Islam and its holy books termed Lord Ganesha a mere myth and mocked other Hindu beliefs at a public meet, on the pretext of spreading scientific temperament. But Mr. Shamseer or other CPM leaders rarely attack the concepts of Islam or Christianity to in the pretext of fighting superstition. 

Was Mr. Shamseer's remarrks a slip out? Absolutely not. It is a part of CPM strategy to provoke and denigrate Hindus, because they think it will endear them to minorities, especially the followers of Radical Islam. The left, esp. the communists have been doing that for decades in Kerala. But of late, Hindus have started to see through the realpolitik of communists and resist it unitedly. Listen to my analysis 

Is Muslim League secular?

A rally by Muslim Youth League workers held at Kanhangad a couple of days ago raised atrocious slogans against Hindus threatening to kill and hang them before temples. This has raised many questions about the secular credentials of Indian Union Muslim League which is termed secular bby Rahul Gandhi. Muslim League had been termed communal by Jawaharlal Nehru once. Kerala's mainstream political parties distanced themselves from the league till 1967. Then how did the Muslim League manage to become secular? Are they really secular? My analysis.
